Joan Mir becomes the 9th winner of MotoGP 2020 as Suzuki celebrate double podium finish

Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) beats his teammate Alex Rins to win his maiden premier class (MotoGP) race in the European Grand Prix at Ricardo Tormo circuit, Valencia, Spain.
It was Suzuki's best ever 1-2 finish since the 1982 German Grand Prix. Mir's win at Valencia extends his championship lead from his rivals Rins (2nd), Fabio Quartararo (3rd) and Maverick Vinales (4th)
Pol Espargaro (KTM Factory Racing) who started from pole position finished the race in third place behind the Suzuki riders, his 3rd podium of the season.
Bad luck for both Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) and Maverick Vinales (Yamaha Factory Racing) as they didn't score more points than their championship rivals Mir and Rins throughout the race. Vinales started the race from the pit-lane, while Quartararo involved in the opening lap collision with Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Gresini)
